Lycée Français du Caire Opening Ceremony

Lycée Français du Caire (LFC) is one of the oldest privately owned foreign schools in Cairo. The school has over 1600 students, and its programs are derived from the French educational system. SHUTTERING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY was awarded the project of constructing the school’s new campus after a competitive bidding process. The project combined a total built-up are of 15,000 square meters and landscape are of 25,000 square meters. The project’s scope included: learning space, administration, staff space, music room, library, theater, restaurant, swimming pool, and gymnasium.

 

On October 11, 2015, Lycee Francais du Caire had an opening ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new campus in Maadi, Cairo.  There were many well-esteemed guest in attendance including French Prime Minister Manuel Valls, Defense Minister Jean- Yves Le Drian, Minister of Relations Jean-Marie Le Guen, President of Commission of Foreign Affairs Elisabeth Guigou, and Shuttering’s Chairman Sherif Abdel- Kader.
